Mums Jams is a dance program for mum. It is also a safe place to rebuild confidence, gain and improve your dance skills.

 

The idea came up when dancer Jandira Baptista faced the challenge of immigration and Covid after maternity. The difficulties experienced made her create enormous empathy for what it means to be a mother, and what other women may be going through during this phase of life. In the reconnection or re-inventing of your self, confidence, self-esteem, return to a professional career and financial independence, relationships, the type of support system, the impact of changing habits and lifestyle, are The focus of this program is dedicated to women in pre and post maternity.

More than dancing, this program encompasses online interviews and discussion panels between women from different professional fields, and specialists in areas such as psychology, image consultancy, business, traditional and scientific medicine, among others, and aims to reach the entire family and the world.

Mums Jams mission is to inspire women and mothers to do and care for their mental and physical health through dance. Dance has the power to help individuals to overcome daily life pressures. The women will feel inspired and will get their opportunity to shine.  This can lead to positive outcomes in their lives.
